Lindsey's life has been largely about developing an understanding of the artistic form and function of the horse. Her horses are the representation of her emotional empathy with the spirit of the horse.

Born and raised in Worthington, Massachusetts, her first great passion in life was horses. She got her first pony at three years old and has rarely been horseless since. She credits her family's encouragement of her artistic talent with leading her to create her first major sculptural works.

Currently, Lindsey spends her winters teaching Nordic skiing, her other great passion, and much of the rest of her time picking up sticks along New England rivers and streams, always in search of that perfect piece.
